Manager - Engineering Lab

Responsibilities May include: o Establishes continuous improvement goals and executes action plans o Utilizes proven lean manufacturing abilities to identify opportunities for cost reduction, increased quality, work flow improvements, estimating, project analysis, technology development and core manufacturing skill set. o Able to supervise others and providing mentoring to junior engineers, technicians and support staff o Supports DOE, 8D, FMEA, 6 Sigma and DFP analysis and implementation of Kaizen activities o Works with Design Engineers to revise, and sustain HVAC product designs, utilizing knowledge of mechanical engineering principles; provide manufacturing technical resource to Design Project teams o Develop and manage project schedules related to existing product launches or design modifications. o Document product designs by preparing bills of materials, cost analyses, drawings, and engineering change requests. o Assist in redesigning internal components to improve overall long term system quality, improve efficiency and reduce cost. o Develop engineering solutions to product related issues through problem solving and root cause analysis techniques. o Participate on cross functional teams to launch product modifications, resolve issues, and support product improvements. o Coordinate project work internally with the department and externally with other departments to ensure on-time completion of projects within budget. o Develop suppliers for manufacturing equipment, develop key suppliers, create an environment of continuous improvement in equipment UPTIME, EFFICIENCY & QUALITY o Create preventive maintenance that effectively maintains the equipment in optimal form without the need for short cutting the quality or machine capability o Perform other job duties as required by supervisor/manager. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, instrumentation or equivalent from an accredited university Preferred MBA or Master Degree 10 years minimum experience in HVAC design and/or lab experience 5 years minimum experience in leadership, ideally lab leadership Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience in establishing and or optimizing business processes Experience with the product development process Experience with domestic and international compliance bodies governing HVAC laboratory operations. Knowledge of ISO standards and ISO audits process Data acquisition Goal development and metrics development to measure goal attainment Continuous Improvement ISO Tracking and Maintenance Tracking and Measuring 2018-10375

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
