JOB DESCRIPTION:
Utilize knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Design Failure Modes and Effects analysis (DFMEA), sign of experiments methodology, tolerance analysis, value engineering principles, and parts standardization to participate in advanced research and development for new technologies and their application to the broader HVAC market. Create, simulate, test, analyze, and document new technologies or their application in HVAC products from the requirements provided. Communicate and coordinate with vendors to obtain information and assistance. Use knowledge of engineering change processes and CAD systems to create and improve technologies for HVAC product designs. Develop and coordinate project schedules related to new and existing HVAC product designs. Analyze product designs using tolerance, thermodynamic, finite element, and computational fluid dynamic analyses. Document potential designs by preparing cost analyses and feasibility studies. Assist in redesigning internal components to improve overall long term system quality, improve efficiency and reduce cost. Develop engineering solutions for development issues through problem solving and root cause analysis techniques. Participate in cross-functional teams to support product launches and improvements. Coordinate project work internally with the department and externally with other departments to ensure on time completion of projects within budget. Collaborate with students and faculty at Universities on new technologies and processes. Work with suppliers to improve quality and resolve issues. Drive continuous improvement projects related to the Engineering department.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and three (3) years of experience in product design, engineering change processes, CAD systems, DFSS, DFMEA, sign of experiments methodology, tolerance analysis, value engineering principles, and parts standardization with a high-volume manufacturer of HVAC products.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
