The Opportunity:
The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing and sourcing, engineering and R&D, internal senior leaders, the Field Sales organization, key business partners and the senior management team to maximize the growth, development and return on investment of the organization's product portfolio today and in the future. This senior leader will also oversee development of customer insights and business/market intelligence development, syndicated data, sales analysis and corresponding presentations so as to identify and capitalize on the most advantageous business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess the capability to handle both our "Traditional" and "Strategic or Brand" marketing responsibilities.

ResponsibilitiesTraditional Marketing Job Responsibilities:
Marketing Communications
Develop marketing campaigns to meet sales objectives.
Coordination with company's external PR agencies.
Review and approve annual department budget in addition to divisional marketing budgets across multiple subsidiaries.
Event planning and management.
Travel for company sponsored marketing events.
Identify and introduce new technologies to improve department efficiency.
Effectively lead and direct a growing and diverse marketing team.
Strategic/Brand Marketing Job Responsibilities
Align functional plans with the strategic plan. Lead integrated cross-functional teams to execute plan to drive outstanding financial results.
Develop forward looking and maintain product/services offerings or marketing plans for multiple brands that enable profitable growth into the future.
Develop strategic plans that enable businesses to grow faster than their markets and drive outstanding operating income growth.
Define global marketing and business development strategies aligned to the strategic plan.
Identify branding opportunities to further expand product/service line, penetration, as well as positioning advantages globally.
Identification of cross-selling opportunities that fully utilize the breadth of Goodman's product and service offerings across all businesses divisions.
Identify, create, and coordinate channel and customer specific product, programming and digital solutions.
Plus, develop and maintain a strategic plan for business growth including:
Portfolio analysis and assessment to identify revenue and growth plans by market and product segments.
Extensive ability to craft/create analysis of market trends; competitive data; technology advancements; and customer needs assessment and new product developments.
Identification and evaluation of inorganic growth strategies including acquisitions, alliance, licensing, and partnership opportunities linked to the strategic plan.
Fact-based analysis of market trends; competitive data; technology advancements; and customer needs assessment and new product developments.
Creation of a strategic technology development and return of investment analysis.
Development of regional strategic plans to expand globally.

Education and Experiential Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering fields (masters or advanced degree a plus)
10 plus years of executive level marketing experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
