The Opportunity:
Daikin is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Sales Forecasting Specialist for our Daikin North America Division. Reporting to the Sales Planning Manager, The Sales Planning Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales related data in an on-going effort to increase overall sales productivity. Collect relevant internal and external sales data and economic conditions by channel and region in order to accurately forecast sales. The incumbent develops and tracks key performance indictors considered instrumental in enhancing of business understanding and to improve decision-making. The Sales Planning Analyst will create both standardized & custom reports, conduct quantitative product & sales analysis; provide support other assistance as necessary assessing future needs and data integrity. Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs data analysis using various statistical techniques.
Assists in the preparation and delivery of decision support reports to both internal and external customers.
Acts as advisor to operations research team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
Interprets results using a variety of techniques.
Designs, develops, implements and maintains business solutions.
Works directly with clients and project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements.
Gather and organize information on problems or procedures.
Analyze data gathered and develop solutions or alternative methods of proceeding.
Develop and implement records management program for filing, protection, and retrieval of records, and assure compliance with program.
Review forms and reports and confer with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose, and to identify problems and improvements.
Document findings of study and prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes.
Design, evaluate, and recommend, changes of forms and reports.
Generate standard or custom reports summarizing business, financial, or economic data for review by executives, managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action.
Reports and collects market data submission, analyze competitive market strategies through analysis of related product, market, or share trends.
Collect business intelligence data from available industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources.
Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs.
Analyze information obtained from management to conceptualize and define operational problems.
Perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary.
Collaborate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
Document specifications for business intelligence or information technology (IT) reports, dashboards, or other outputs
Study and analyze information about alternative courses of action to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes.
Prepare management reports defining and evaluating problems and recommending solutions.
Interview personnel and conduct on-site observation to ascertain unit functions, work performed, and methods, equipment, and personnel used.
Identify and analyze industry or geographic trends with business strategy implications.
Prepare manuals and train workers in use of new forms, reports, procedures or equipment, according to organizational policy.
Assist management in developing and reviewing the sales budget and rolling sales forecast including sales to budget variance analysis.
Provides insight for company's CRM system including sales management processes (training and key issue resolution).
Analyze sales and performance records, interpret results of overall sales.
Analyze line of business operations (product lines, sales channels, etc.) to determine profitability and to establish a baseline for action and operational changes.
Develop models and reporting structure that identify costs (by function, process, fixed, variable) per unit (store, order, script, other) and identify a baseline for action.
Guide sales personnel (Key Accounts, Sales personnel, etc.) in entering accurate data for forecasting into the CRM tool, generate reports for forecasting, and collaborate forecasts into reports on a frequency determined by management as necessary.
Coordinate the complete sales reporting and forecasting process for all sales channels.
Communicate sales reporting and sales forecasting to Senior Management.
Analyze results and set up reports containing respective conclusions, ideas, and general guidance.

Provide customized reporting and recommendations in support of ongoing business decisions or initiatives.
Collect sales records & trends and evaluate performance measured against sales quotas.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelors or equivalent required. Masters degree preferred.
10 years+ leadership and customer relationship management experience in a sales environment
Knowledge/Skills Required:
Ability to obtain detailed knowledge of DACA products & services, customers, decision makers, sales processes and market trends.
Customer focus, sales, presentation and negotiation skills, comfortable in working with C-level executives.
Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issues.
Positive flexible attitude, with a can-do approach to solving challenges.
Ability to build and maintain complex computer applications and programs that perform analysis, organize data and create reports from various sources.
Knowledge of relational databases and the ability to create stored procedures.
Ability to perform complex analysis such as regression, forecasting, and probability modeling.
Ability to capture and document business and reporting requirements from multiple sources.
Ability to co-ordinate and manage simultaneous data analysis requests of varying size and scope.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
In-depth knowledge of SQL, Excel, VBA, Maplnfo, CRM, ERP computer programming and relational databases.
Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Required regularly to sit, talk, and listen.
Required to stand, walk, use hands to pick up, handle or feel and reach with arms.
Ability to read and analyze written information on a computer terminal. Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are necessary.
Must be able to travel on business or work beyond normal work hours as necessary.
Must be able to lift boxes and/or equipment of up to 25 pounds.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
