Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload items from the vehicle, manual methods.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher - Ensure that all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with customer requirements - Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery - Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle - Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws while operating the vehicle Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Previous experience as a delivery person, courier, or in a similar role is preferred - Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle is required - Strong knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills - Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as needed - Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members Job Type:
