Complete product inspections and process surveillance to ensure production and products meet QMS requirements.
Assist QA/QC to develop a quality orientated culture throughout Avid departments.
Participate in any activities that assist Avid in meeting ISO and customer requirements.
Recommend adjustments to the assembly/production processes.
Making sure the good quality production of products on time while monitoring the production practices and working with the QA/QC Manager when issues arise.
Education High School Diploma or GED 2 year degree preferred Experience 1-3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment, and/or 1-3 years of production experience 1-3 years of electronic component experience Experience with ISO 9001:
2015 preferred Skills and Qualifications Must be able to read, write and speak English Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook Knowledge of ISO 9001:
2015 Able to read, understand, interpret, and follow detailed work instructions Able to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data Able to adjust to changes without compromising quality or performance Able to read, understand, and follow schematics and engineering drawings Able to make judgments in position and process Able to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly Able to read measuring tools such as gauges, meters, etc
